About Schertz Land Clearing

Who We Are

Schertz Land Clearing is a local land-clearing and forestry-mulching operation serving Schertz, Cibolo, Marion and the surrounding Guadalupe and Comal County area. We do one thing and do it well: turn overgrown, unusable land — cedar thickets, mesquite flats, brushed-in fence lines, raw building lots — back into open, usable ground.

How We Work

Three things guide every job:

• We look before we quote. Land clearing can't be priced blind. We come out, walk your property, and give you a firm, honest number — free, no obligation.
• We clear the clean way. Forestry mulching leaves the material as mulch on your soil, protecting it from erosion — no burn piles, no hauled-off debris, no dozer scraping your topsoil into a pile.
• We tell you the truth. If mulching isn't the right tool for part of your job, we'll say so. If a protected tree or a permit is involved, we'll flag it before a blade touches the ground.

Local Knowledge That Matters

Clearing land around here means knowing more than how to run a machine. It means knowing that Schertz has tree-preservation and clearing/grading permit rules inside the city limits; that mature Ashe juniper on the western, hillier edge of the area can be golden-cheeked warbler habitat with a spring nesting window; that mesquite has to be grubbed, not just cut, to stay gone; and that these thin Hill Country soils erode fast if you strip them bare. That's the difference between a local crew and someone driving in from two counties over.
